SWAN was established in Uganda by a team of experienced security professionals who together have served around the world for over 50 years. We provide an extensive range of diverse services, investigation services company, manned security and forensic to provide a complete security solution.

Richard Swan

Director – Operations & Training

He has over 10 years’ service in Special Forces majorly in the legendary Special Air Service (SAS) and has several Rhodesian Army qualifications. He has years of experience in International Private Security companies in South Africa and overseas.

David S.K Tamale

Director – Investigations

He has BA-Hons in Criminology and Psychology-UK. He has worked as the Investigations Manager of Protectorate SPC and their group companies, Head of Investigations in the Pinnacle Group of companies (Pinnacle Security and Watertight Services) and has years of experience in Private Investigations and Private Security Management

Godfrey J. Wandera

Head – Investigations

Mr. Wandera has worked in the investigations Department, Special Operations Department and as Head of Training at Protectorate S.P.C, one of the leading private security companies in Uganda. He has done several courses with the Uganda Police force and has worked in some other private security companies, one of which is Armor Group Inc. Uganda. He has International security experience working with Lear Siegler Services Inc. Iraq and EOD Technologies Inc. Iraq. Mr. Wandera also has over 10 years service in the Uganda Peoples Defence Force (UPDF), chiefly in the National Resistance Air Force (NRAF), in Entebbe, Artillery and Air Defence (AAD) in Bombo and 4th Division in Gulu.
